Q: Is wood safe for my baby?
A: Wood has actually been used for teething since the dawn of time for good reason- it’s super safe and your baby will love it! We sand our teethers so super smooth your baby’s gums will be free of splinters and the maple wood we choose has a hard, tight grain that heals itself if it ever does break (we’ve only seen this done by dogs & machines, but you never know!). If they are to break, we recommend for safety that you remove from your child’s accessibility until you’ve assessed the splinter situation, but you’ll be surprised to see that the wood more chunks off than sharply splinters. Use your best judgment, but we think the small chance of a splinter is a risk much safer than the numerous chemicals in plastic toys that can change their little bodies and alter their hormones forever. Q: Is wood sanitary?
A: Yes! Maple wood has natural antibacterial properties that actually kill bacteria that tend to grow on plastics. We choose a hard maple wood that’s often used for cutting boards in commercial kitchens.
Q: How do I clean and care for my wooden teether?
A: An occasional wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap should be enough to keep your teether super clean. No additional coating is necessary, but if you want to restore its’ original shine, apply a little coconut oil and it’ll be good as new! Should you feel the need to further sanitize your teether, you can throw it into your dishwasher, boiling water or heat sanitizer. You’ll find the grain on the wood may raise a little. It’s nothing that should bother those little gums, but if it bothers you, you can lightly sand it until smooth as your babies’ cute little bottom.

Q: I don’t do paypal- do you accept other forms of payment?
A: Sadly, we cannot support ourselves on sexual favors :p Paypal is currently our only payment processing option, but don’t stress- by using the “Paypal” link, you can still pay with a credit or debit card without signing up for paypal. Simply follow the link to the paypal website and below the login portion, click “Pay with Credit or Debit Card.” You wont have to sign up for Paypal at all, just enter your credit/debit card information and decline to sign up for a Paypal account. And if all else fails, contact us and we’ll send you an invoice 🙂
Q: Can you make my teether without coconut oil/beeswax?
A: Of course! As we make all of our teethers by hand, we can always accommodate requests such as these. Simply leave us a note with your order (under order notes at checkout), and/or send us an email with your needs- we’re happy to make you happy!

Q: Do you offer a discount for larger orders?
A: Yes- we offer free shipping for orders over $50 (after any discounts/promotions are applied). We also offer wholesale pricing and shipping for orders over 20 items. Please contact us for a more info!
Q: Whoa there, Nelly- shipping seems astronomical!
A: Flat rate shipping should be $5.95 within the US & $13.95 for international shipping, but occasionally, our system miscalculates or it may accidentally default to Next Day Shipping. If this happens, try re-loading the page, click “Calculate Shipping,” and make sure you’ve chosen the radio button next to “USPS: $5.95”. Still not working, didn’t notice you were overcharged until you saw your receipt? No biggie- send us a message, shoot us an email or give us a call at (805) 421-0339 and we’ll issue you a refund or credit.
Q: Where in the world is my order?
A: As we hand make all of our orders, processing times usually take up to seven business days. Once your item is shipped, you should receive an email with tracking information. Shipping within the contiguous United States typically takes 1-3 business days. Don’t see you tracking info? Need your order like yesterday? Contact us and we’ll get right on it!
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: We aim to please, so we’ll do our best to always make you happy! We can’t accept returns on any used or personalized teethers. Returns on unused, un-personalized teethers are gladly accepted. Buyer will need to contact us for a return shipping label or use this link to print one yourself. Once we have received your item, we will issue you a refund minus all original and return shipping costs and a standard 15% restocking fee within 3 business days. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. If Free shipping was granted at time of purchase, buyer will be responsible for shipping costs to and from your delivery address upon return. We really do want to make you happy, though so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have a concern and we’ll make it right!
Q: I want to change my order
A: Sure as long as we haven’t yet personalized your order, we’ll be happy to make any changes to your order right up until it goes in the mail! Contact us and let us know!
